Programming is in a naturalistic environment, interacting with the community and utilizing resources.
A Brighter View Day Program is a community based adult day program that provides roundtrip transportation from our individual’s home. We also utilize public transportation, such as BART, helps individuals to access points of interest in the San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. As well as educating participants on travel training and safely accessing the community.

We provide services to individuals that support and meet the individual’s needs and that surpasses their goals for a healthy lifestyle of independence.
Individuals learn skills that are necessary to establish and maintain positive relationships.
Positive intervention techniques are used to support individuals with challenging behaviors.
Individuals learn functional job skills, how to write a resume and work ethic.
Due to the distinct nature of each individual served, all components are tailored to independently fit each individual.
Individual’s will have community based activity options based on their individual interests and ISP goals, which include supporting their independence, honoring choices, promoting positive well-being and improving their quality of life. We will empower our individuals that need extra support through behavior management and modification. A Brighter View will succeed by following person-centered thinking and through quality DSP training and support.
We also offer hybrid services that include programming via a virtual platform such as Zoom. This is offered for individuals that choose to not access the traditional community based programming full time. This option is available Monday through Friday, 9am until 2:30pm. This includes a variety of classes to meet individual’s ISP goals.
