Who are we

A Brighter View Day Program, Inc. was established in 2020. ABV focuses to provide community-based programming to developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals, as well as those who are behaviorally challenged.

We are committed to serving the developmentally and intellectually disabled throughout Northern California. We offer our participants the chance to live and work freely in the nearby network. One of our primary objectives is to enable our participants to make decisions and choices in their lives.

Endless learning opportunities to drive personal development.

Our mission

To provide quality care and support through Educating, Enriching, and Achieving.

We will teach participants to be active members of their community through volunteering, involvement, and access to the community and paid work opportunities.

To ensure that individuals with significant disabilities learn how to access and be part of their community and self-advocate and decide what they want to do each day.

Our motto is “endless learning opportunities” and is practiced every day as we encourage our participants to become self-advocates, provide choice-making opportunities and community participation.

Purpose & goals

To improve the quality of life of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as those that have challenging behaviors, by providing individualized support to program participants. At A Brighter View, we strive to provide an integrated option as participants learn to work and participate in the least restrictive environment. We are committed to assisting individuals with maximizing their potential and enjoying life to its fullest.

A Brighter View supports individuals with making choices that affect their daily lives, including activities, community involvement, social interactions, and healthy relationships.

To promote self-development, individuals will have the opportunity to practice, learn, demonstrate, and experience independence in the community.
